Job Summary
As an Associate Software Engineer, Retail POS you will assist in the development, writing and testing of application software from specifications for new and modified Retail and POS systems.
Job Description
Key Competencies:
Basic understanding of Point of Sale (POS) concepts or retail experience is a plus.
Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and software development concepts.
Experience or coursework in Java development; exposure to Java Swing is a plus. Knowledge of JavaScript or Python is beneficial.
Exposure to technologies such as .NET Core, Docker, JSON/Open API, SQL Server, or Android development is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD principles and modern software delivery practices.
Experience using source control and development tools such as Git, Nexus, and Jenkins is preferred.
Interest in learning about high-volume, mission-critical applications that require high availability and performance.
Participate in both daylight and off-hour support rotation.
Education Desired: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

The hiring range for this position is $55000.00- $64200.00 per hour/year. This range represents the anticipated base pay for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. Eligible employees may be offered health, vision, and dental insurance, personal/sick paid time, 401(k) retirement savings plan, bonus potential, paid bereavement, vacation and paid holidays.
