Sullivan & Cromwell LLP seeks an Associate (Senior) in the Litigation Practice Group located in New York, NY. The role reports to partners and involves identifying legal issues and strategies, advising clients, and overseeing case management in complex commercial and intellectual‑property litigation and arbitration disputes.ResponsibilitiesIdentify legal issues and strategies, advise clients, and oversee case management in complex commercial and intellectual‑property litigation and arbitration disputes that involve multiple claims, parties, or jurisdictions.Participate in all technical aspects of patent litigation, including claim construction, patent validity and infringement issues, and assertion of affirmative defenses, such as inequitable conduct.Work with expert witnesses, prepare expert reports, and assist with depositions and trial testimony.Assist with direct and cross‑examination of witnesses at trial.QualificationsJ.D. or foreign equivalent, admitted to practice law in New York State.At least three years experience at an international law firm, researching and drafting pleadings, briefs, motions, and other submissions in commercial and intellectual‑property litigation involving multiple claims, parties, and jurisdictions in complex international commercial arbitration.Experience in all technical aspects of patent litigation, including claim construction, patent validity, infringement, and affirmative defenses such as inequitable conduct.Ability to identify and analyze legal issues within complex, multi‑party litigation and arbitration disputes, including those relating to international arbitration rules and procedures.Experience working with expert witnesses, including preparing expert reports and supporting depositions and trial testimony.CompensationSalary ranges from $310,000 to $435,000 per year for a 40‑hour work week.ContactPlease submit resumes to TalentManagement@sullcrom.com and indicate job code ML111224NIS.#J-18808-Ljbffr
