THESE ARE THE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN ASSOCIATE STORAGE ENGINEER:

  • Provide maintenance support for NetApp and Rubrik, and perform Rubrik and PayRange installations

  • Schedule service calls and coordinate the delivery of parts to meet the customers' SLAs

  • Maintain NetApp and Rubrik storage equipment

  • Troubleshoot and follow product repair action plans (disk/controller swaps, etc.)

  • Act as smart hands with direction from a support center

  • Install an array of PayRange devices in multiple locations locally

  • Interact with IT customers, TSP technical team members, and external support organizations

  • Impact extends to customer technical representatives, including systems administrators and technical managers

  • Weekend and evening work required, as are occasional holidays

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE EVERYTHING ABOVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE:

  • Any IT or storage experience is welcome, but not a requirement
  • Exposure to data center environments is preferred but not required
  • A strong sense of urgency, time management, and customer-facing skills are required
  • Must have a general understanding of Microsoft Outlook and demonstrate superb communication skills (phone/email/in-person)
  • Good job stability must be reflected on resume
  • Must be reliable, proactive, and possess the ability to take ownership of multiple engagements

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ROLE:

  • In this role, you will work with one other teammate
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift and install equipment (up to 75 pounds) into customer racks
  • Fluent in English
  • Pay: up to $30.00 per hour
