Responsibilities


The Clinical Applications Technician performs duties related to system integration, which includes business needs analysis and customer requirements; participation in system design and development; project implementation; documentation; and end user training. The position is responsible for the development and support of Clinical Applications utilized by Dignity Health Medical Foundation, including but not limited to Allscripts EMR system, Elysium Data Repository and IQMax. Assigned projects are worked on with a fair degree of independence within the scope of duties and responsibilities. May be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:


+ One to two years of experience providing Technical Support preferably in a health care environment

+ A combination of experience and education can be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree

+ Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting processes and applying technical solutions to resolve

+ Demonstrated ability to motivate others to achieve goals

+ Demonstrated ability to lead others in difficult situations

+ Strong problem solving skills, ability to manage project tasks and timelines, and analytical ability

+ Ability to work with and communicate to a diverse work force in all levels of the organization

+ Strong communication and leadership skills required

+ Must be able to adapt easily to change and lead others in a team environment

+ Personal computer based productivity tools

+ Principles of application, analysis and testing


Preferred Qualifications:


+ One to two years of information systems experience applying analytical methodologies, with specific experience utilizing an Electronic Medical Record system preferred

+ Experience working in a physician practice / clinical environment preferred

+ An Associates Degree or Certification in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems preferred


*Remote position with one day required on-site at business office and occasional on-site applications training
