Mechanical Engineer

Pay Rate: $39 - $42/hr

Location: Onsite

This is an onsite position for a motivated, hands-on engineer who has knowledge of and experience with electro-mechanical devices.

Job Summary
  • Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices, and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
  • General responsibilities include design concept generation, participation in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specifications, reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions.
  • Makes independent decisions and assists in the development of manufacturing processes.
  • Troubleshoots issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.
Job Responsibilities / Qualifications
  • Learns and applies company concepts, policies, procedures, and standard practices.
  • Normally receives detailed directions on assigned work.
  • Works on projects of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires review of identifiable factors.
  • Makes suggestions to improve work processes.
  • Assists in reducing to practice patentable inventions.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.
  • Participates in technical team activities.
  • Presents and discusses data within the group.
  • Monitors work to ensure quality and continuously promotes a "Quality First Time" mindset.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills
  • Knowledge of basic and specialized engineering techniques.
  • Familiarity with searching technical literature.
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, graphical, and presentation software applications.
Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience.
