    Tucson, AZ - Onsite

    Salary Range:

    Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rates

    Introduction

    These are onsite positions for motivated, hands-on engineers who have knowledge of/experience with electro-mechanical devices. These entry-level positions are focused on lab work, including running protocols, conducting tests, and collecting data for assessment on new development functional models. Ideal candidates for these positions should be energetic, inquisitive, capable of following written instructions, and possess relevant internship experience in the medical segment.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Knows basic and some specialized engineering techniques.
    • Familiar with searching technical literature.
    • Skilled with use of word processing, spreadsheets, graphical and presentation software applications.
    • Bachelors/Masters in Engineering with 0-3 years of experience.
    • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.
    • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

    Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience with electro-mechanical devices.
    • Relevant internship experience in the medical segment.
    • Experience in systems engineering or related fields such as mechanical, chemical, or biomedical engineering.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices, and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
    • Participates in design reviews, development, and testing to assess performance against design specifications.
    • Assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.
    • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
    • Monitors work to ensure quality, and continuously promotes Quality First Time.
