The Associate Tax Counsel will provide tax advisory support across the firm's investment platforms, fund structures, and corporate entities while helping manage tax risk, compliance, and strategic planning initiatives.
Advise on U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax matters affecting investment funds and management company operations.
Support the structuring of investments, financings, acquisitions, and other complex transactions from a tax perspective.
Review and negotiate tax provisions within investment, financing, and fund documentation.
Partner with legal, finance, compliance, and investor relations teams regarding tax implications of business activities.
Assist with fund formation, restructuring, and ongoing tax planning initiatives.
Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and legal counsel.
Monitor tax regulatory developments and assess their impact on the firm's operations and investment strategies.
Support tax reporting processes and investor-related tax matters, including fund distributions and tax disclosures.
Identify and mitigate tax risks while ensuring adherence to applicable regulations.
