Job Summary
Our Expanded Learning staff provide quality programming for Winters JUSD students after school and over the summer. School year hours are 6 hours per day (12pm-6pm), and summer hours are 8 hours per day (8:30-5pm). Positions are eligible for CalPERS retirement, medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Under the supervision of the Site Administrator, ELP Coordinator, and the ELP Site Lead, the ELP Associate Teacher will prepare and implement ELP lessons. In coordination with the ELP Coordinator and Site Lead, this position will support the timely and accurate completion of grant paperwork and reporting.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade • Basic skills assessment must satisfy one of the following: • Pass an assessment provided by WJUSD that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics • Completion of at least 48 semester units of study at an institution of higher education, college level, or Associates degree
