ASSOCIATE TECHNICIAN - TECHNICIAN - Electronics Assembly

Who We Are:

Join an independent R&D company as a skilled technician to assemble, maintain, and repair experimental electronics equipment to aide in solving national security problems.

Objectives of this Role:
  • Work on a variety of projects and/or current challenges to support the lifecycle of electronic designs.
  • Develop Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), assist with the creation of detailed schematic drawings and Library component generation for electronic designs.
  • Solder components to PCBs, Work on Miniature Electromechanical systems.
  • Assist engineers with testing newly developed electronic designs and also help troubleshoot on test bench.
  • Work independently and in team environments.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
  • Soldering fine pitched surface mount components to PCBs, soldering rework, and assembly.
  • Responsibilities include Schematic capture, development of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), and Library component generation.
  • Construct custom cables.
  • Assist engineering staff with testing of new electronic designs.
  • Complete assigned tasks without direct supervision and work on multiple tasks in parallel.
Requirements:
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or an Associates degree in Electronics.
  • Certifications is preferred or working towards a certification/degree in electronics.
  • 1 years: Experience with surface mount soldering.
  • Experience troubleshooting and testing analog and digital electronics is beneficial.
  • Experience in PCB design software is preferred.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements:
