Associate Technology, Data & Cyber Risk Oversight

This Associate-level opportunity sits within the second line of defense Risk Management function of a leading global financial institution, supporting the oversight of technology, cybersecurity, and data risk across the Americas Division. The role offers meaningful exposure to enterprise risk frameworks, regulatory expectations, and cross-functional collaboration with technology, cybersecurity, and data teams making it an excellent fit for an early-career risk professional looking to deepen their IT and cyber risk expertise within a structured, well-resourced second-line environment. Candidates with a background in IT risk management, control testing, or regulatory/audit functions will be strongly positioned for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support independent review and credible challenge of first-line risk assessments, controls, metrics, and remediation plans across IT, data, and cybersecurity risk domains
• Assist in the maintenance and periodic update of technology, data, and cybersecurity risk management frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures
• Provide review and challenge on IT and cybersecurity policies, standards, control frameworks, risk metrics and indicators, and RCSAs
• Support the preparation of technology, data, and cybersecurity risk reporting for senior management and risk committees, including issue tracking and escalation
• Assist TDCRO management in ensuring IT, data management, and cybersecurity risks are adequately governed, managed, and controlled across the organization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across risk, technology, cybersecurity, and data teams in a matrixed environment
• Apply knowledge of technology and cyber risk domains including SDLC, application security, data management, IT governance, cloud, infrastructure management, change management, and incident/event management
