Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is an advantage (not required)
- Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly, testing and troubleshooting. Hands-on with screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and similar hand tools.
- Must be comfortable working in a full gown in a Class 100 Cleanroom. Ability to climb a ladder and lift 30-50 pounds independently.
- Previous experience with assembly of XY stages, robotics, systems cabling is an advantage
- Experience calibrating and troubleshooting stages, motors, swapping out failed boards, etc.
- Ability to use mechanical hand tool such as torque wrenches and calipers
Responsibilities:
- Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems and components
- Systems level cabling of capital equipment, including stages, robotics, optomechanical assemblies
- Must have a strong willingness to learn and ability to think outside the box for complex technical problems
- Determine and may develop methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems, and complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
