Job Description
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent technical training is required
- 2+ years of experience with assembly, test, and build of electromechanical equipment
- Ability to assembly components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
- Experience with complex optical assembly builds/alignments - such as alignment and configuration of light/laser systems
- Ability to test and troubleshoot from board to component to systems level - prototypes and final assemblies
- Must be familiar with hand tools including Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, o-scopes, power meter
- Experience working fully gowned in Class 100 clean room
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Help build and test mechanical assemblies at a system level for new metrology system
- Complete system integration and testing for semiconductor tools. Ensure hardware is calibrated to specification in operational method sheets
- Assemble complex optical subsystems, utilizing cell cycling fixtures
- Perform mechanical, optomechanical and electrical assembly, alignment and calibration
- Candidate will also be required to maintain and qualify existing tools, return to operational functionality if necessary
- Should have good hands on assembly, troubleshooting and communications skills
