Associate Transportation Pricing Specialist

Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity on our Energy Transportation Pricing team. We are looking for an Associate Pricing Specialist. This position reports directly to our Pricing Analyst and will be responsible for owning pricing data management for our Transportation and Logistics business unit. The ideal candidate of this position would be a proactive communicator, detail oriented, and self-motivated individual. A person will excel at this role if they are familiar with standard Excel functions and has a continuous improvement mindset. Candidate will help pricing analyst create overall pricing strategy. This position will be a hybrid role located at our Inver Grove Heights corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve pricing, billing, and data integrity issues through root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable solutions
• Maintain, update, and validate transportation pricing structures, rate tables, and billing configurations to support accurate invoicing, pricing proposals and data integrity.
• Develop an understanding of transportation pricing structures, customer agreements, and business objectives to contribute insights that support pricing strategy development
• Document, retain and/or advance pricing and billing standards that promote consistency, accuracy, and scalability across the business
• Recommend process improvements that enhance data quality, increase efficiency, and reduce billing errors
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives and service excellence

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Transportation and Logistics
• High School diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Strong communication, data management, and time management skills
• Desire to grow within CHS and expand job responsibilities

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
