Associate Truck Sourcing Specialist

Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Transportation division. We are looking for a Truck Sourcing Specialist Associate to complete our team. You must be customer focused with excellent communication skills, project management, and change management skills. Must have the ability to influence internal customers, build relationships, and lead change efforts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine logistical activities to include reporting, system updates, emails, and customer service.
• Identify and resolve pricing, compliance and data maintence issues utilizing root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve visibility to our internal and external customers
• Maintain carrier information and pricing documents within excel and specific ERP systems.
• Work directly with internal stakeholders to identify performance metrics and create presentations for business reviews and sourcing projects
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with the transportation team and well as CHS Retail Offices, Sales, and other groups.
• Work directly with carrier partners to assist with onboarding and maintaining compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

• High School diploma or GED
• Knowledge of Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Transportation and Logistics

Additional Qualifications

• Technical, associate degree or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Strong communication, data skills and time management skills.
• Self-starter and motivated to learn new systems and proficiencies

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
