Associate Veterinarian – Care Team – Houston, TX
A well-established small animal clinic in Houston is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a patient-focused team delivering high-quality preventive, medical, and urgent care services. This opportunity is ideal for a doctor who values compassionate medicine, enjoys hands-on case management, and wants to grow clinically in a supportive and progressive practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine physical exams, diagnostics, and medical evaluations
- Diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
- Perform medical and soft-tissue procedures
- Provide dental and preventive care services
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Collaborate with technicians and support staff
- Manage a varied caseload including urgent and emergency cases
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Eligible for licensure in Texas
- Experience in small-animal medicine preferred
- Comfort with urgent or same-day cases is a plus
- Strong communication and clinical judgment
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary care
