Up to $150,000 + Sign-On Bonus | Full-Service GP Hospital | Collaborative Team | Modern Equipment | Flint, Michigan

A well-established small animal hospital in Flint is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to a collaborative and progressive team that genuinely values quality medicine, professional development, and strong team culture.

This is a full-service hospital working primarily with dogs, cats, and ferrets, offering a strong balance of routine GP work, medical cases, and surgery. The team has built an environment where veterinarians are supported properly, trusted clinically, and encouraged to continue developing their interests.

The hospital is well-equipped, including a fully functioning ICU with ECG machines, blood pressure monitoring, incubators, and modern diagnostic equipment that allows the team to manage more advanced and critical cases in-house.
You would be joining a supportive structure made up of experienced technicians, assistants, and client service professionals who work closely together to deliver high standards of patient care and client communication.

What They're Looking For

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited university
• Licensed, or eligible to practice, in Michigan
• Comfortable with routine appointments, surgery, and case management
• Team-oriented veterinarian who values communication and high-quality medicine
• Someone looking to be part of a stable and supportive long-term environment

What's on Offer

• Salary up to $150,000 depending on experience
• Sign-on bonus available
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• Continuing education allowance
• Paid parental leave
• Paid vacation and sick leave
• Employee discounts

Why Flint?

Flint offers a lower cost of living than many comparable cities, giving veterinarians the chance to enjoy a strong quality of life while still having access to culture, entertainment, and education. The city is home to historic venues like the Capitol Theatre, a growing arts scene, and institutions such as the University of Michigan-Flint.
If you are looking for a hospital where you can practice good medicine, be well-supported, and continue growing professionally without feeling like just another number, this could be a great fit.
