Lake Harriet Veterinary located in Minneapolis, MN is hiring an Associate Veterinarian.
We are a well-established, 5-doctor small animal practice with an exceptional team culture and a loyal client base that is deeply invested in their pets' care. Many of our veterinarians and support staff have been with the hospital for more than 10 years, creating a collaborative, supportive environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
Our philosophy is simple: we may generously share cookies, but we never offer cookie-cutter medicine. We utilize low-stress handling techniques and fostering a calm, positive experience for both pets and their families. Our environmentally conscious hospital features abundant natural light and a welcoming atmosphere designed to support the well-being of our patients, clients, and team members.
Beyond medicine, we value the relationships we've built within our hospital. From our staff gardening group chat and kickball team to annual team events and activities outside of work, we enjoy spending time together and supporting one another. We are proud of our positive, drama-free culture and our commitment to work-life balance. In fact, PTO requests are respected and supported because we believe great veterinary medicine starts with a healthy, fulfilled team.
Surgical experience is welcomed but not required.
