Associate Veterinarian (Ophthalmology) – Bellevue, WA
A specialty and emergency veterinary hospital is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative clinical team. This opportunity is suited for a veterinarian interested in working in a specialty-focused environment with access to advanced diagnostics, experienced clinicians, and ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive veterinary examinations and patient care
Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a variety of cases
Manage specialty and referral cases in collaboration with other clinicians
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and available hospital resources
Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses and treatment options
Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
Participate in case discussions, rounds, and continuing education
Contribute to a supportive, professional, and learning-focused environment
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary program
Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to continued learning and professional development
Board certification or eligibility in a veterinary specialty is preferred
