Work Schedule

Schedule: Full-time and part-time opportunities available Open seven days per week Hospital hours: 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM Rotating weekend schedule No overnight on-call responsibilities

 

Case Mix

Cases: Broad mix of small animal general practice cases during the week Urgent care and same-day sick cases primarily seen on weekends Soft tissue surgery and dentistry Internal medicine and diagnostic workups

 

Handling Protocols

Fear Free and Feline Friendly handling protocols

 

Access to Advanced Diagnostics

Access to advanced diagnostics and strong referral partnerships when needed

Total Rewards

As a VCA Associate, eligible full-time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including:

• Compensation: Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent • Be licensed in good standing to practice in (IL), or the ability to obtain • Commit to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
