    Associate Veterinarian – Richmond, VA (Sign‑On Bonus)

    Location: Richmond, Virginia Employment Type: Full‑Time

     

    A well‑established veterinary practice in Richmond, VA is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a compassionate professional who enjoys providing comprehensive companion animal care, collaborating with a supportive team, and advancing their clinical skills in a modern, progressive environment.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform examinations, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions in companion animals
    • Conduct preventive care, wellness visits, and surgical procedures within scope of practice
    • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
    • Educate clients on treatment options, preventive care, and follow‑up recommendations
    • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care
    • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
    • Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives
    • Uphold high standards of medical care, patient safety, and client service

     

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
    • Active or eligible veterinary license in Virginia
    • New graduates and experienced veterinarians encouraged to apply
    • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care and collaborative teamwork
