Associate Vice President / Dean of Students

Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Associate Vice President/Dean of Students is a senior student affairs leader who provides strategic direction and overall leadership for the Dean of Students Office. Grounded in the Jesuit, Catholic mission and Ignatian vision of education, the AVP/Dean advances a comprehensive approach to student development, care, belonging, and success.
The AVP/Dean leads a talented team of student affairs professionals and provides strategic oversight for critical functions including community standards, restorative practices, student conduct, student support and case management, disability services, off-campus student life, behavioral intervention, crisis response, and Title IX-related processes. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and thoughtful leader who can navigate complex student matters with care, sound judgment, and a commitment to fostering a thriving campus community.
Key Responsibilities
Each staff member in the Division of Student Affairs is expected to support division and university-wide initiatives, staff events, and serve on committees as needed.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $163,750 to $204,700; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
