  • Design staffing mix, hours of operation, space allocation, and patient scheduling and access processes for service line care sites; partner with Patient Accounting on insurance verification and registration.
  • Negotiate and execute purchased-service contracts in collaboration with supply chain; evaluate the need for and engage external consultants.
  • Maintain responsibility for Joint Commission readiness and for Commission on Cancer and NAPBC accreditation, in partnership with Oncology service line physician and nurse leaders.

  • Lead direct reports; develop service line training and education for non-clinical staff.
  • Partner with physician and nurse leaders to develop the service line as a clinical practice home - engagement plans, culture integration, and internal service line communications.

Partnership & collaboration

  • Build and sustain effective, collaborative partnerships across MWHC - physician and nurse leaders, site administrative leadership, other service lines, clinical support services (pharmacy, laboratory, and imaging), and system services representatives (HR, IT, Finance, Strategic Planning).
