Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking qualified candidates to join Beacon Pointe Advisors as an Associate Wealth Advisor in our Scottsdale, AZ office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in client advisory, investment management, and administrative aspects of client service. This individual will work directly in coordination with Senior Wealth Advisors and a talented team of wealth management professionals dedicated to servicing sophisticated, high net worth individuals and families.ResponsibilitiesProviding a best-in-class service experience to a select group of clients, wealth advisors and internal associates. This entails frequent communication with clients and internal associates - both verbally and in writingServing as liaison to firm professionals and clients services associates in the research, review and execution of sensitive and/or high priority investment related tasksProviding direct support to Senior Wealth Advisors in daily aspects of client service, advising, and financial planningAssist with business development effortsCoordinating timely investment process of new client accounts within internal guidelinesResponsibility for client data in various internal systems including the firm's portfolio management database (Tamarac)Developing in depth understanding of portfolio construction and risk managementCommunicating with separate account managers regarding client service issuesOther duties as assignedAdditional duties may entail participation in team projects and assisting with initiatives designed to streamline firm policies and procedures.QualificationsFour-year college degree (Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Economics preferred)Professional Financial Designation (CFP®, CFA, or Series 65, or equivalent work experience) preferred1 - 2+ years of relevant experience working with high-net worth individuals a plus; preferably with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), investment management firm or broker/dealerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skillsAbility to excel in a fast-paced, team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.)Resonates with BP Values: Family Oriented, Ambitious, Collaborative, Entrepreneurial, ServiceAbout Beacon Pointe AdvisorsBeacon Pointe Advisors is one of the nation's largest Registered Investment Advisor firms with headquarters in Southern California and affiliate offices nationwide.
