Join the NextEra Energy Power Generation Team

NextEra Energy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Wind Technician to join our team. This position will focus on warehouse management, parts running, and assist the Site Manager with other compliance and O&M Maintenance related tasks to support our wind energy operations at both North Sky River and Sky River Wind. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient handling, storage, and transportation of parts and materials required for wind turbine maintenance and operations.

Job Overview

Employees in this job perform warehouse management, business duties, environmental insepctions, safety inspections, and other ancillary duties to help support operations at a wind site. The successful candidate will ensure efficient handling, storage, and transportation of parts and materials required for wind turbine maintenance and operations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Under direct supervision:

  • Performs parts and inventory management including adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley Act policies and procedures
  • Transports equipment, tooling, and parts to and from technicians and contractors in the field with assistance
  • Performs safety and environmental inspections directed by site leadership
  • Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling
  • Manages own training schedules and meets training requirements of the position
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 0+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or Equivalent Experience
  • Valid Drivers License (NON CDL)

The estimated base pay for this position is $44,000.00 to $66,000.00 per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
