Description

Your Role:

The Assortment Planner generates and analyzes statistical data with a focus on assortment, productivity, and space optimization. Responsibilities include creation and revision of tier/segment targets for a merchandise area in support of the critical business initiatives and budget objectives, develop a financial view of recommended style and choice count by tier, classification and attribute, and utilizes space productivity measurements to drive assortment decisions. The role also entails providing analytics to cross functional partners, to ensure the assortment architecture gets translated appropriately, impacting store ROI. Reports to the Assortment Planning Manager.

Your Impact:

  • Report and analyze current tier performance on a floor set, monthly and seasonal basis.

  • Create and maintain tier targets in sales dollars, units and margin at a category level in accordance with each buy milestone.

  • Create a financial view of assortment productivity by tier with recommended style and choice counts.

  • Partner with merchants and visual to align financial recommendation with visual presentation.

  • Partner with merchandise planning to align chain financial and CC count with tier financials and CC count.

  • Develop and maintain financial benchmarks of style/choice productivity by category.

  • Analyze store tier information, making recommendations by store based on volume and space, as well as maintain store lists reflecting store tier changes.

  • Review productivity and utilization by fixture and cabinet at the store / store tier level and make recommendations to maximize.

  • Champion change, taking risks as needed and demonstrating flexibility

Minimum Salary: $99,800.00

Maximum Salary: $135,240.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications

Your Experience:

  • Bachelor"s degree in Business related field

  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in a retail planning discipline

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel including Power Query and Power Pivot

  • Strong system skills capabilities and proficiency in MicroStrategy or similar program

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Strong organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work well within a matrixed environment

  • Proficiency in Power BI and Access preferred
