Surgical education is a core mission of the department, and the acute care surgery section will include general surgery residents and medical students in addition to advanced practice providers. Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate's qualifications and experience.

  • Diagnose diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands.
  • Discuss treatment options and procedures with patient and family members.
  • Perform surgery, including minimally invasive procedures, such as thyroidectomies, adrenalectomies and pancreatic tumor resections.
  • Manage hormone-related conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in the medical education and bedside training of medical students, residents and fellows.

  • ABMS Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery.
