The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking a new clinical physician as an Assistant Clinical General Pediatrician. This position will involve working at a new primary care pediatrics office, managed by the NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group in Scarsdale, NY.

In this role, you will participate in providing the highest level of care to general pediatric patients in the office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts.
• Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications.
• Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction scores.
• Meet or exceed productivity targets.
• Lead initiatives to improve clinical workflows, patient outcomes, or healthcare delivery systems.
• Act as a liaison between clinical staff and organizational leadership, ensuring alignment of goals.
• Oversee clinical teams or programs, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Represent the department or institution in professional or public-facing roles.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor in Medicine.
• Board Certified or eligible.
• New York State Medical License.
• 0-5 years post training.
