Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs (Administrative Manager I), Salary: $57,779 - $72,224 per year, USCA Alumni Relations

The Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs supports the university's efforts to strengthen alumni engagement, volunteer involvement and philanthropic support. Working collaboratively with Advancement staff, campus partners and alumni leaders, this position assists in the planning and execution of programs, events, communications and outreach initiatives that deepen connections between alumni and USCA while advancing the university's mission and strategic priorities. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of alumni relations, fundraising, constituent engagement and higher education advancement practices. Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively engage alumni, donors, volunteers, students and campus partners. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, analyze data, maintain accurate records and utilize CRM and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Alumni Engagement Programs and Events:

Assists with the planning, coordination and execution of alumni engagement initiatives, including Homecoming, the Annual Golf Tournament, Grad Finale, Senior Gift Campaign, Family Fund activities, alumni recognition programs and other signature events designed to strengthen alumni connection to USCA.

Manages Alumni and Communications and Outreach:

Develops and distributes alumni communications through email, social media, newsletters and other digital platforms. Maintains communication calendars, monitors engagement metrics and recommends opportunities to increase alumni participation and constituent engagement.

Coordinates Alumni Volunteer and Leadership Programs:

Supports the recruitment, onboarding and stewardship of alumni volunteers, advisory board members, chapter leaders and affinity group participants. Maintains volunteer records and assists in creating meaningful opportunities for alumni leadership and involvement.

Maintains Alumni Data and Reporting:

Ensures the accuracy of alumni records within the university CRM system, tracks event participation and engagement activity, prepares reports and assists with survey administration and analysis to inform alumni engagement strategies and decision-making.

Supports Development and Advancement Initiatives:

Collaborates with Development staff to support donor cultivation, stewardship and engagement activities. Assists with alumni giving initiatives, donor recognition efforts and constituent outreach programs designed to strengthen the culture of philanthropy and support the mission of USCA.
