EOG's Land Administration department is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join the team as a Senior Land Administration Assistant. The role's primary focus is providing specialized support to Title Analysts, enabling timely, accurate, and compliant Land Administration workflows. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, collaborative, and capable of managing a high volume of administrative transactions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities*Support Land Administration activities by processing incoming and outgoing mail.
*Create and route high volumes of inquiries related to owner communication, escheat candidates, returned 1099s, and returned division orders to appropriate title teams and analysts.
*Create and update owner accounts within owner record database.
*Support annual 1099 correspondence activities, including researching and resolving returned documents.
*Prepare, distribute, track, and monitor Division Orders and Transfer Orders.
*Draft and process routine correspondence letters and owner communications.
*Coordinate the recording of legal and land documents with county courthouses.
*Perform LexisNexis and other research activities to locate owners, verify records, research obituaries, and support ownership verification efforts.
*Complete Tax Identification Number (TIN) matching to ensure IRS compliance.
*Review and set up title opinions in the land system, ensuring accurate data entry and record maintenance.
*Provide administrative support to Title Analysts and management, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing departmental correspondence.
*Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
*5+ years of administrative office experience preferred.
*Prior experience working with Land or Land Administration preferred.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
*Willingness and ability to learn new software and processes are required.
*Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
*High School diploma or GED required.
