Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate credentialing and re-credentialing activities for physicians, advanced practice providers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with NCQA, URAC, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care plan standards.
  • Delegate and oversee workflow of Credentialing Specialists while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Review completed provider files for accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and troubleshoot complex credentialing issues.
  • Support physician onboarding and collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless provider setup.
  • Analyze reports and maintain credentialing database integrity to support claims and collections processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with managed care plans and government payers to ensure timely processing.
  • Train, mentor, and develop team members to drive performance and growth.

 

Qualifications:

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in managed care and/or governmental payer credentialing 
  • Strong knowledge of credentialing regulations, policies, and accreditation standards
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise workflows and mentor team members
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with providers
  • High School Diploma required
