Asst. Superintendent - Industrial Construction - Raritan, NJ

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of industrial construction projects throughout central/ north New Jersey. This individual will work closely with Project Managers and field teams to coordinate schedules, subcontractors, project documentation, and overall project delivery from start to finish.

Description

• Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects.
• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project logs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Track project progress and identify potential issues before they impact schedule or cost.
• Support procurement activities and material deliveries to ensure timely project execution.
• Attend project meetings and maintain clear communication between office and field teams.
• Monitor compliance with safety requirements, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Utilize Procore or similar construction management software to manage project documentation and reporting.

Profile

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:

• 2-5 years of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or field operations.
• Experience working on industrial construction projects such as warehouses, distribution centers, big-box retail, grocery stores, tilt-wall facilities, or similar large-scale commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project coordination.
• Experience using Procore or similar construction management software platforms.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with project teams in both office and field environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
