Responsibilities of the AT&T Sales Team Lead

  • Evaluate team interactions throughout the day, converting objections and missed closes into refined account strategies for the next round of pitches.
  • Engage tough customers to open conversations, then transition the account back to the associate to complete the AT&T enrollment.
  • Display team metrics openly; daily sales, Fiber upgrades, and device activations, to keep performance transparent and competitive.
  • Champion morale with recognition moments, quick incentives, and supportive field presence that keeps sales associates pushing forward.
  • Onboard new sales team members rapidly by immersing them in shadowing, live practice, and early AT&T sales reps.

Qualifications of an AT&T Sales Team Lead

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in sales or leadership is a plus.
  • Confidence leading group huddles, mid‑day resets, and post‑route debriefs.
  • Skilled at identifying sales patterns and adjusting team strategy to improve close rates.
  • Ability to coach associates on pacing, territory flow, and customer engagement.
