Responsibilities of the AT&T Team Manager

  • Develop and mentor sales reps to confidently assist customers with AT&T smartphones, unlimited plans, and fiber services, reinforcing strong customer relationships.
  • Conduct regular performance check‑ins that balance empathy with accountability, helping reps understand their sales metrics and how to improve them.
  • Drive sales growth by guiding the team to identify upgrade opportunities, bundle solutions, and promote AT&T Fiber as a premium home connectivity option.
  • Oversee daily customer interactions to ensure consistent service quality, timely issue resolution, and adherence to AT&T service expectations.
  • Coordinate training sessions that strengthen product knowledge, customer engagement skills, and the team’s ability to simplify AT&T offerings for customers.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on sales, customer satisfaction, and operational performance to support data‑driven decision‑making.

Qualifications of an AT&T Team Manager

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in sales or management is a plus. 
  • Skilled in analyzing sales metrics, customer trends, and team performance.
  • Strong understanding of sales fundamentals, upgrade positioning, and sales strategies. 
  • Ability to resolve customer issues with professionalism, modeling AT&T’s service expectations.
