The ATE lab manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operation, maintenance, and improvement of our Engineering lab. This role ensures calibration compliance, safety standards, and test equipment at peak performance. The lab manager supports engineering testing, new product introduction, enabling future infrastructure upgrades while managing lab personnels and resources.

Key job responsibilities

Lab Operation & Management

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the lab.
  • Schedule routine system checks, maintenance, and calibration activities.
  • Maintain equipment documentation and asset tracking.
  • Resolve systems failures through troubleshooting, debugging, replacing load boards, sockets, test fixtures and heatsink material.
  • Deliver training program for new operators.
  • Support test engineers in collecting test data.

Planning & Resource Allocation

  • Collaborate with facilities for lab infrastructure upgrades, including power, water, air lines, HVAC.
  • Decommission obsolete SOCs, test cards, in accordance with company policies.
  • Help to optimize test operations in the lab.
  • Develop and implement best practices for lab management and equipment utilization.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain records of maintenance, calibration, diagnostics.
  • Support audit and inspection by provide required documentation and demonstrating compliance.
  • Adherence to safety and quality standards across lab operations.
