Join a global organization where your work directly impacts student success and development.The RoleThis is a unique, multi-faceted opportunity to lead a comprehensive school athletics program while also delivering engaging physical education lessons across age groups.You will oversee competitive sports, enrichment programs, camps, and athletic facilities—playing a critical role in shaping student experiences both in and out of the classroom.Key ResponsibilitiesAthletics Leadership & Enrichment Program Management· Coordinate all aspects of middle and high school league sports· Develop and manage after-school enrichment programs for all grade levels· Recruit, supervise, and support coaches and activity leaders· Organize and lead sports trips and global events· Plan and deliver seasonal camps during school breaks· Manage athletic facilities, including gym, courts, and fields· Continuously evaluate and improve athletic programsPhysical Education (PE) Instruction· Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons· Develop curriculum aligned with school standards and progression goals· Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment· Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs· Foster both individual growth and teamwork skillsCommunity & School Engagement· Act as a school ambassador with students, parents, and visitors· Build strong relationships with staff, families, and external partners· Support school events, tours, and community initiativesQualifications & Experience· Bachelor's degree (required)· Previous coaching experience with school-aged students· Demonstrated success in sports program management , preferably in a school setting· Strong organizational and logistical skills· Ability to work effectively in a diverse, international environmentWhat We're Looking For· High energy, self-motivated team player· Strong leadership and communication skills· Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment· Commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and student wellbeing· Positive attitude, flexibility, and a sense of humorRequirements· Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident· Must pass a comprehensive background check· Commitment to safeguarding and child protectionCompany Description About our SchoolThe British International School of Charlotte is a fast-growing independent private school situated in the popular area of Ballantyne, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
