GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support district school and athletic director in their effort to foster an optimal educational environment for students. Provides administrative assistance and coordination of all athletic activities at the middle and high school level.

MAJOR TASKS:

  • Oversee the reports, correspondence, and records such as activation of the My Athlete system
  • Manage records for coach trainings/certifications/recertifications/AIA trainings
  • Staff game workers for all athletic events
  • Manage contracts/licensing for Hudle, Aktivate (RMA), Snack Shack
  • Organize rosters and athletic fees
  • Manage athletic equipment orders seasonally
  • Compile student athlete paperwork including physicals.
  • Coordinates transportation and logistical details of athletic events
  • Assists with the processing of facility use requests.
  • Assists with athletic scheduling and communication with other schools, athletic programs and AIA officials.
  • Schedules games workers for home events and transportation for away events.
  • Assists with reception when needed.
  • Maintains athletic department filing system.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous secretarial experience.
  • Ability to type accurately.
  • Ability to learn and operate computer as required.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of District and state policies, regulations, and school laws.
  • Knowledge of office methods and operation of office equipment.
  • Knowledge of business English, grammar and composition.
