OVERVIEW
JOB TITLE: Athletic Production Student Assistant
LOCATION: St. Paul Campus
PAYRATE: $16.50/hour
JOB SUMMARY:
St. Thomas Athletics is excited to get rolling with our 6th year at the NCAA Division I level! All St. Thomas Athletics student assistant opportunities will be for the 2026-2027 school year and will start in August or September 2026. You can apply for more than one job in athletics, but please limit it to two (2) different positions. We will be following up via email when you apply, ultimately meeting with you in person for an interview.
Bring Tommie Athletics' video production, videography and graphics to the next level and join athletics as a video production assistant for the 2026-2027 athletic season.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in setting up, operating and striking cameras (robotic, handheld, and on tripods)
- Operate various positions on game days for streaming and in-venue productions such as camera, utility, graphics, replay, technical director, director, producer, and more
- Assist in setting up, operating and striking audio board
- Assist in loading content and operating LED videoboards, graphics, and replay
- Assist in setting up, operating, and striking other equipment as necessary (cables, monitors, sets, etc.)
- Option to shoot and edit game day and behind-the-scenes content for Tommie broadcasts and social media - if interested please attach a link to any previous video work
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Paid ($16.50 per hour)

- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand or sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to work nights and weekends
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Highly motivated and willing to learn
- Interest in sports and/or production

To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
