    Description

    *SIGN ON BONUS - $2,000

    The Essentials:

    • Schedule: Full-Time (40 hrs/week) | Monday-Friday | 8AM-5PM
    • Location: Fairlawn, OH
    • Specialties: Orthopedics/Hand and Wrist
    • Travel: May be required to travel between clinic locations as needed

    What Youll Do:

    • Provides clinical and administrative support in outpatient care and durable medical equipment (DME) services under the supervision of licensed providers.
    • Performs patient intake, records vitals and medical histories, manages EMR documentation, assists with procedures, prepares injections per physician orders, responds to clinical calls per protocol, and performs staple/suture removal and dressing application.
    • Fits and educates patients on DME, coordinates insurance authorizations, and maintains clinical areas to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
    • Prepares EMRs for new patients, ensures forms are complete and accurate, reviews progress notes and urgent orders, and prepares charge tickets.

    What Were Looking For:

    • Education: Bachelors degree in Athletic Training or related field from an accredited program required. Masters degree in Athletic Training or related field preferred.
    • Experience: 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as an Athletic Trainer or related field, preferred.
    • Skills: Proficiency in EMR systems preferred. Knowledge of clinical safety protocols and quality standards. Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and clinical demands.
    • License/Certifications: Current license to practice Athletic Training in the State of Ohio required; Certified by the Board of Certification (BOC), Inc. for Athletic Trainers preferred; BLS required.
