NOW HIRING: ATHLETIC TRAINER – SPORTS MEDICINE

Pay: $24–$32/hour, based on experience

Help patients get back to the activities they love!

We are seeking an Athletic Trainer to work alongside sports medicine physicians in a busy clinical setting. You’ll support patients from injury evaluation through treatment and recovery while helping provide an efficient, personalized patient experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather injury histories and perform musculoskeletal assessments under physician direction
• Assist with orthopedic and sports medicine examinations
• Present findings to physicians and document patient visits in the EMR
• Educate patients on home exercise programs, injury care, activity modifications, and return-to-sport/work guidance
• Fit and educate patients on braces, splints, taping, and other durable medical equipment
• Support concussion screening and follow-up
• Track rehabilitation progress and coordinate care with physical therapy, imaging, and other services
• Assist with procedures and injections when appropriate and within scope of practice
• Respond to patient questions and reinforce treatment plans

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training program
• Board of Certification (BOC) certification REQUIRED
• Current North Carolina licensure REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic injuries, rehabilitation, and sports medicine
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
• Team-focused with a commitment to excellent patient care

PAY: $24–$32/HOUR, BASED ON EXPERIENCE
