Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Frequent evenings, weekends, and holidays based on competition and practice schedule

Position Introduction: The Athletic Trainer - Football, under the medical-legal supervision of the head team physician and the head athletic trainer, and head football athletic trainer with direct primary responsibility to Football, is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of injury and illness within the University’s comprehensive athletic medicine program; empowered with the unchallengeable authority to determine management and return to play of any ill or injured athlete, as the athletic trainer deems appropriate; empowered with unchallengeable authority to cancel or modify any workout for health and safety reasons, as he or she deems appropriate.
