Athletic Trainer - Full Time, Direct Hire
    Location: Ft, Polk, Leesville, LA

Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled and mission‑driven Athletic Trainer to support the U.S. Army’s rapidly expanding Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) program at Ft. Benning.

Summary: This role places you at the center of the Army’s largest human performance optimization initiative. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will directly contribute to measurable improvements in soldier readiness—such as increased Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) pass rates, reduced musculoskeletal injuries, and enhanced behavioral health outcomes. Launched in 2018 and scaled across brigades beginning in 2020, H2F is now active in 45 brigades, with full expansion to 110 brigades projected by FY27. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of soldier performance and wellness.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities

As an Athletic Trainer supporting the H2F initiative, you will:

    • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that may include physical therapists, strength and conditioning coaches, dietitians, cognitive performance specialists, and occupational therapists.
    • Deliver prevention-focused care, acute injury management, and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries to improve soldier readiness.
    • Implement performance optimization strategies aligned with the five H2F readiness domains: physical, mental, nutritional, sleep, and spiritual.
    • Advise unit leadership using evidence-based approaches to reduce injuries, enhance recovery, and improve overall unit performance.
    • Utilize CIMT-developed tools and data systems to track, analyze, and improve soldier performance outcomes.
    • Support improvements in ACFT performance, resilience, and holistic readiness across the force.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree.
      • Graduate of a CAATE-accredited Athletic Training program.
      • Passing score on the BOC exam.
      • National Provider Identifier (NPI).
    • Licensure/Certification:
      • Unrestricted state license/registration/certification as an Athletic Trainer in any regulated U.S. state/territory.
      • Ability to obtain in-state licensure during onboarding.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of two years of relevant Athletic Training experience within the last three years.
      • Experience working with active populations (military, high school, collegiate, professional sports, performing arts, or occupational health).
    • Additional Requirements:
      • U.S. Citizenship.
      • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
      • Current physical exam and immunizations.

    Company Benefits:

    • Paid leave
    • Employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance
    • Short- and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D, legal services, identity theft protection, and accident insurance
    • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options
    • 401(k) with immediate employer match vesting
    • Professional development support, including courses, certifications, and tuition reimbursement
