Job Title: Athletic Trainer Department: Athletics Reports To: Head Athletic Trainer Position Status: 10-Month/Full-time - August to May Salary: $50,000 annually SUMMARY This position will help manage the overall health care of Madonna University intercollegiate student athletes in conjunction with all athletic training staff. Maintains lines of communication with team physicians, coaches and other athletic trainers. Sport assignments will be determined by the Head Athletic Trainer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring and training; planning, assigning and directing work of student workers; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred; CSCS Certification preferred; two plus years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. NATABOC certified, licensed in the State of Michigan. Experience working collegiate athletics preferred.
