**Your Role**
You will serve as a vital member of the sports health team, ensuring athletes receive top-notch care for injury prevention and recovery. Under the guidance of the Orthopedic Service Line Director, you'll work closely with physicians, coaches, and educational staff.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver comprehensive services in injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation following industry certification standards
- Attend practices, matches, and events, including potential travel and flexible hours
- Administer on-site care such as first aid and injury evaluation
- Create and execute personalized rehabilitation plans
- Utilize safe and effective therapy techniques
- Track athlete progress and modify care as required
- Facilitate referrals, follow-up, and coordination of care
- Communicate effectively regarding injury status and recovery plans
- Maintain detailed medical records and reports
- Conduct proper taping, bracing, and equipment fitting
- Help organize athletic physicals
- Engage in community and educational initiatives
- Assist in evolving program contracts and metrics

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in related health discipline
- Certified by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers
- New York State Athletic Trainer certification
- CPR certified (or within 3 months of hire)
- Preferred experience of 1–2 years in sports healthcare
