    Eligible for a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

    We are seeking a full‑time Athletic Trainer dedicated exclusively to Stockbridge High School. The athletic trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive health care program for student‑athletes and other patients as needed. This role requires a strong communicator who can effectively serve as a liaison between the Stockbridge athletic department and Henry Ford Jackson.

    About Stockbridge High School: Stockbridge Highschool is located in the community of Stockbridge within Ingham County and approximately 29 miles from Jackson, is a proud member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association. As a Class C school offering 12 competitive sports programs, Stockbridge provides student‑athletes with a robust and high‑quality athletic experience.

    What You'll Do:

    • Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries

    • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards

    • Collaborate with coaches, administrators, and health care professionals to support athlete well‑being

    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the school's athletic department and Henry Ford Health

    What We're Looking For:

    • Board of Certification (ATC) and Michigan state licensure (or eligibility to obtain before hire).
    • A post-professional master's degree in athletic training or related field is preferred, along with two years of experience (can be combination of education and experience).
    • Strong ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.
    • Knowledge and adherence to NCAA, NJCAA, and MHSAA policies, with a commitment to supporting community outreach programs.

    Additional Skills or Certifications:

    • Additional certifications like CSCS, PES, FMS, CKTP, EMT are highly valued.
