At a glance!: The Athletics department is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented professional. LCC Athletics is a respected program that is a leader in the 35-school Northwest Athletic Conference. The Athletics team consists of an Athletic Director, a Sports Information Director, an Athletics Game Management Assistant, and Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches, who work collaboratively to manage 115-120 student athletes.

Who You Are: A successful candidate for this position will be a highly organized, details-first professional with the ability to thrive behind the scenes of a fast-paced athletic department. This individual balances structural compliance with a supportive, student-centered approach, ensuring that our student-athletes have what they need to succeed both on the field and in the classroom.

Whether navigating complex eligibility regulations, managing budgets, or coordinating travel logistics, the ideal candidate handles multiple moving parts with ease and accuracy. They are an approachable communicator who enjoys collaborating across campus departments, working with external community partners, and mentoring student-workers as they take on leadership roles on game days. Above all, they are motivated by a commitment to equity, accountability, and helping a diverse population of student-athletes achieve their academic and athletic goals.

The Position: In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of the department, bridging the gap between sports management, administrative compliance, and student success. You will manage crucial day-to-day functions-including departmental budgets, travel logistics, and student-worker supervision-while ensuring strict adherence to NWAC and federal eligibility standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the student-athlete experience by providing clear guidance on funding, academic expectations, and program requirements in a supportive, equity-focused environment.

This position is categorized as a Program Support Supervisor 2 under State of Washington Class Specifications. This position is 40 hours/week, with the typical schedule being Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with some evening and weekend responsibilities. While primarily an in-person position, occasional remote work opportunities are available after the initial training period. The Program Support Supervisor 2 reports to the Athletic Director.

Timeline: We will be reaching out to candidates 06/30 about the next steps in the application process, with interviews scheduled for 07/23 and finalist interviews scheduled for 07/30.

Successful candidates typically start towards the beginning of the salary range and will receive scheduled salary increases.
