Piper Companies is seeking an Atlassian Suite Administrator to join an industry leading credit union located in McLean, VA. The Atlassian Suite Administrator will be responsible for administering, optimizing, and expanding the organization''s Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), Jira Product Discovery (JPD), and related collaboration tools.
Responsibilities for the Atlassian Suite Administrator Include:
- Administer and maintain the enterprise Atlassian environment, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), Jira Product Discovery (JPD), and associated applications.
- Design, configure, and optimize Jira workflows, issue types, custom fields, screens, permissions, and project configurations to support enterprise delivery standards.
- Develop and maintain role-based security models, user access controls, and governance policies across the Atlassian platform.
- Build and support automation rules, integrations, APIs, and marketplace applications to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of Atlassian Rovo Chat and Rovo Agents to improve enterprise knowledge management and AI-assisted collaboration.
- Create dashboards, reports, executive scorecards, and portfolio analytics that provide visibility into project health, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.
- Perform system audits, platform maintenance, and performance optimization to ensure data integrity, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, documentation, and training to increase Atlassian adoption across the organization.
- Partner with Enterprise PMO leadership to standardize project, program, and portfolio management processes within the Atlassian ecosystem.
Qualifications for the Atlassian Suite Administrator Include:
- Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field required.
- 4+ years of experience administering enterprise Atlassian environments.
- Hands-on experience administering Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Jira Product Discovery (JPD).
- Experience designing complex Jira workflows, automations, permission schemes, custom fields, issue types, and screen configurations.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise PMO operations, project portfolio management (PPM), governance frameworks, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience creating executive dashboards, reporting solutions, and portfolio analytics within Jira and Confluence.
- Experience developing integrations utilizing REST APIs, automation tools, and third-party Atlassian marketplace applications.
- Atlassian Certified Professional certifications highly preferred.
Compensation for the Atlassian Suite Administrator includes:
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 annually depending on experience
