Support/Hourly - Position - Clerk - CampusROLE AND PURPOSETo maintain student attendance records and serve as secretary to the assistant principal(s). Provides courteous and professional customer service to internal stakeholders (faculty and staff) and external stakeholders (parents and community members), ensuring accurate and timely communication in all interactions.QUALIFICATIONSEducation / Certification:High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution, required.Experience:2 years of data entry experience preferred.General clerical experience.SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLSBilingual preferred.Ability to maintain confidential, accurate and auditable records.Ability to use computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and perform word processing.Proficient typing, keyboarding, and file maintenance skills.Ability to multitask, work well in a fast‑paced environment, and meet established deadlines.Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Detail oriented.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESADMINISTRATION SUPPORT:Maintain attendance records on the mainframe computer.Enter each period's absentees and tardies.Update computer from call‑in list.Monitors absences.Call parents of absent students who have not been cleared.Report any attendance problems to assistant principal(s).At end of day, print/type updated Unexcused Absence Summary and distribute to all teachers.Prepare attendance reports.Write passes and admits for students.Serve as secretary to assistant principal(s).Receive telephone calls and take messages as needed.Perform general clerical duties such as filing, typing letters, etc.Supervise office aides.Other duties as assigned.SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES:Phone security for front door scan.Assist Data Clerk when necessary.Assist in clinic in nurse's absence.WORKING CONDITIONS:Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computers and peripherals; standard instructional equipment.Posture: Moderate standing; occasional kneeling, squatting, bending, and stooping.Motion: Moderate walking.Lifting: Regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).Environment: Work inside and outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather); exposure to noise.Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.The foregoing statements describe the general purpose and responsibilities assigned to this job and are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties that may be assigned or skills that may be required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
