Position: Restaurant Attendant - Rivers Casino Pittsburgh

Position Summary: As a Restaurant Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your responsibilities include greeting patrons with a warm smile, possessing in-depth knowledge of procedures, and ensuring the restaurant is impeccably set for business.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the customers
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of job-related procedures.
• Verify the restaurant's cleanliness and readiness for service.
• Familiarity with menu items, specials, and pricing.
• Accurately and completely take guest orders.
• Complete all side work and assigned duties promptly.
• Offer assistance to guests regardless of seating.
• Uphold standards by setting examples through appearance and work ethic.
• Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and courteously.
• Prioritize safety and accident prevention in all job duties.
• Facilitate communication between shifts.
• Stay updated on all Departmental Policies and Procedures.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a proper uniform, name tag, and a neat and clean appearance.
• Perform any other specified or assigned duties.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills in English for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Prior experience is beneficial, showcasing sound judgment.
• Cooperative, helpful, and friendly nature.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process.
• Flexible availability, including holidays and varied shifts.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and working in the kitchen
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
