Position Summary:  

Join our vibrant team at Speed Queen as an Attendant, where you'll play a crucial role in providing top-notch customer service and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facility. This position is ideal for individuals who are friendly, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers.


Responsibilities:  

  • Greet customers warmly as they enter the facility and assist them with any inquiries or needs.
  • Operate washing machines, dryers, and other equipment according to company standards and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility, including restrooms, seating areas, and laundry equipment.
  • Assist customers with using laundry equipment, including providing instructions and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for customers and staff.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on laundry equipment, such as cleaning lint traps and checking for any malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:  

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, typically up to 50 pounds.
