Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio seeks an Attended Donation Center (ADC) Trainer.
Under the general supervision of the Transportation and ADC Manager, the Attended Donations Center Trainer is responsible for training ADC team members at ADC sites, as needed. You are accountable for the overall image, customer service, stewardship of donations, and integrity of donor counts.
Essential Functions:
1. Ensures a work environment for a prompt, friendly, and courteous donor experience.
2. Opens and closes an ADC as required, including reporting a donor attendant's absence, assigning duties as applicable, and having complete control of operation functions as assigned.
3. Greets donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner within 10 seconds; unloads donations from vehicles and maintains accurate daily counts of donations.
4. Hands every donor a receipt and ends every donor interaction with "You changed a life today, Thank you!"
5. Breaks down donations into categories.
6. Assist the Transportation and ADC manager in the sustainable projects (Cleveland Rocks/Rags/scan books) as needed.
7. Performs regular inspections and site visits to ADCs covering shifts, loss prevention review, training, schedule review, image, including proper attendant attire, supplies, and equipment, and proper donor greeting procedure.
8. Responsible for maintaining drive-through and trailer sites in accordance with image standards.
9. Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies efficiently. Responsible to secure and appropriately using those supplies.
10. Communicates with leadership on opportunities found at each ADC and supports ADC peers on specific duties as needed or requested.
11. Adheres to all Goodwill personnel policies and procedures; follows good safety and security practices, including reporting safety hazards and injuries.
12. Assists supervisor with safety practices and incident/accident reporting.
13. Trains and coaches' performance of ADC team members.
14. Assists supervisor with OJT checklist completion, orientation checklist, site inspections, various reports, work requests, and performance management and recognition feedback.
15. May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.
16. Attends in-service and related training as assigned by ADC manager.
17. Deliver and pick up the ADC trailers to/from homes or businesses without the assistant manager.
18. Supports and engrains DGR MODE guiding principles in daily operations.
19. Other duties as assigned by the ADC manager.
